When you can come
Days
Any day, by prior arrangementWe do not keep fixed public visiting hours. A gaushala’s day runs around the animals rather than a timetable, so every visit is arranged in advance and a caretaker is kept free to walk you around.
Best time
MorningsFeeding, grooming and goshala work all happen in the morning, so that is when there is most to see and most to do. Afternoons are quieter and hotter.
Notice we need
Two days is comfortableSame-day visits sometimes work — ring us and ask. Larger groups and celebrations need longer, because we plan Prasadam and caretaker time around them.
Group size
Small enough that nobody is unsupervisedTell us how many of you there are and we will confirm what works for that date. If a day is already full we will say so and offer another.
What it costs
NothingA visit is not a ticketed experience and there is no entry fee. If you would like to feed the cows while you are there, that is Seva, not a charge.
Finding us
Where
Kāmya Gaushala, ToopranToopran mandal, Medak district, Telangana.
From Hyderabad
Roughly 60 km north, about 1⅓ hoursOut along NH-44 towards Nizamabad. An easy morning drive, and easier before the city wakes up.
The exact pin
Sent on WhatsApp when you confirmThe turning off the highway is not obvious and the last stretch is a village road, so we send a live location pin for the day you are coming rather than an address you would have to guess at.

Please do not simply arrive unannounced — not because you are unwelcome, but because there may be nobody free to receive you, and an unexpected group unsettles animals that were unsettled enough before they got here.
