Found abandoned after she stopped giving milk. Today she is the calm heart of the herd, first at the gate every morning.
A cow's care costs roughly ₹299 a day, so a year of it is shared as twelve monthly parts. Take one, and that month of her food, medicine and shelter is covered. We will send you her photograph and how she is doing, by WhatsApp, when a month you sponsored is done — and you are welcome to come and meet her whenever you like.
A note on these profiles. Every photograph here is a real cow living at Kāmya, and no animal appears twice. The names and stories are placeholders while our team completes each resident's record. Sponsorship reaches the herd either way, and we will never show you an animal we do not care for.

A white mother who came to us in her last month of pregnancy. Her calf has never known a hungry day, and she has never left his side.

Rescued from a transport truck. She was fearful of people for months; now she is first to the feed bowl and eats from the hands of children.

Every rib was countable the day she arrived. Two seasons of green fodder later, she grazes the monsoon grass on her own for hours.

An old white cow who walked into the gaushala on her own from the scrubland, thin and sun-worn. Her working years are long behind her; her quiet ones are ours to protect.

She arrived so weak she could not stand for long, with a calf still depending on her. Both are under daily veterinary care, and both are still here.

One of three saved together from a slaughter transport. She still startles at loud sounds, but she trusts her caretaker completely.
Every photograph is a distinct animal, checked one by one. Names and stories are still placeholders, and no cow shows a sponsorship count because we do not yet publish a sponsorship ledger — we would rather show you a bar at zero than a number we made up. Both fill in as Kāmya’s team enters the real records.
